Data Strategy Analyst
Our client, a leading global online technology platform connecting millions of customers with restaurant and convenience partners worldwide, is seeking a Data Strategy Analyst to join their team in Bratislava, Slovakia. This full-time role within the Analytics Team is crucial for supporting strategic decision-making and optimizing market performance for the Slovak market, directly impacting measurable business growth through data-driven insights.

Your Role as Data Strategy Analyst
As a Data Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that will shape commercial strategies, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes. You will work closely with the Country Director and senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and evaluate key initiatives, directly contributing to the company's success in Slovakia.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnership & Insights: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate diverse business needs into robust analytical solutions. Build compelling, data-driven narratives to support executive decision-making and present these insights and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, influencing critical business directions.
- Reporting & KPI Management: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) frameworks and performance dashboards. Deliver timely and accurate recurring, as well as ad-hoc, management reporting to monitor and evaluate business performance effectively.
- Advanced Analytics & Strategy Support: Utilize strong SQL skills for independent data extraction, transformation, and in-depth analysis. Apply advanced analytics methodologies, such as causal inference, to rigorously measure the effectiveness of various initiatives. Provide crucial support for trading analysis and forecasting initiatives, contributing to proactive strategy development.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with various departments including Sales, Operations, Product & Tech, Marketing, Finance, PMO, and Global Data teams. Actively promote best practices in data utilization and contribute to fostering a strong, data-driven culture across the organization.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or a similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, demonstrating the ability to independently analyze large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to present complex analytical insights clearly and concisely to executive audiences.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Excel, or PowerPoint.
- Advanced analytics knowledge is highly preferred.
- Experience with trading analysis or forecasting is a valuable asset.
- Fluency in both Slovak and English is essential for effective communication within the team and market.
