Job Overview
Our client, a leading AI research lab, is seeking fellowship-trained cardiologists to contribute to a project evaluating the ability of large language models to interpret advanced, real-world ECG/EKG cases. Cardiologists across all subspecialties are encouraged to apply, with particular interest in experts in Electrophysiology and Clinical Cardiology.
Qualifications
You’re a good fit if you have:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of a cardiology fellowship (any subspecialty)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
- 2+ years of post-training clinical experience
- Current residence in the United States
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Electrophysiology
- Primary clinical practice with significant ECG interpretation volume
- Academic or teaching experience (residents, fellows, conferences)
- Experience creating case-based assessments, exam questions, or rubrics
- Background in complex arrhythmia diagnosis, conduction abnormalities, or subtle ECG pattern recognition
Key Responsibilities
- Develop gold-standard ECG interpretations with clear diagnostic reasoning.
- Emphasize edge cases, nuanced differentials, and complex reasoning in ECG analysis.
- Collaborate directly with research teams at a leading AI lab.
- Provide feedback on common failure modes in AI model reasoning.
Screening Process
- Short interview (~20–30 minutes)
- Discussion of your clinical background and subspecialty expertise

Contract and Payment Terms
- Engagement as an independent contractor
- Fully remote role, with flexible scheduling
- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance
- Work does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
- Payments are weekly via Stripe or Wise based on hours worked
- H1-B or STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time
