AWS Engineer (Remote)

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an AWS Engineer to work on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure to support the training of next-generation AI systems. Your expertise will directly contribute to improving model performance through reliable, real-world input. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure using EC2, S3, RDS, and related services to meet operational requirements.
  • Implement and maintain secure identity, access management, and network configurations using IAM, VPC, and security best practices.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
  • Develop and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to streamline operational tasks and enhance system reliability.
  • Ensure robust security practices are implemented and adhered to across all AWS deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure in a production environment.
  • Proficiency in AWS core services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, and VPC with a focus on security and scalability.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation for automated deployments.
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python to automate operational tasks and support system maintenance.
