Architectural CAD Specialist (Remote Contract)
Quik Hire Staffing is seeking a talented Architectural CAD Specialist for a remote contract role. This is a flexible hourly contractor position.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Design Workflows: Execute complete architectural projects from concept modeling through construction document delivery using professional CAD software.
- 3D Modeling & Detailing: Develop precise 3D models, plans, sections, elevations, and technical drawings, maintaining design integrity across all phases.
- File Coordination & Organization: Manage digital files, layers, blocks, and documentation systems for optimal project coordination and team handoff.
- Technical Documentation: Produce industry-standard construction documents with proper annotations, schedules, and drawing organization.
- Process Documentation: Articulate design decisions, workflow choices, and technical problem-solving through clear written explanations.
Required Skills
- Professional architectural CAD experience (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Vectorworks, similar)
- Complete project workflow delivery (concept through construction docs)
- Strong 3D modeling and technical drawing expertise
- File management and layer organization proficiency
