About Quicklizard
Quicklizard helps retailers price with confidence. Our open, API‑first platform ingests transactions, inventory, and competitor feeds; combines rules with ML signals like elasticity, article segmentation, and competitor sensitivity; and uses a governed solver to recommend channel‑specific prices under clear guardrails. Every model output, rule, and recommendation is versioned and auditable, so buyers see how the price was made—and can adjust it without black‑box surprises.
The Role
As our first US AE focused on upper mid‑market through enterprise‑lite, you’ll own a pipeline and revenue with SDR support and a strong partnership with solutions engineering/data science. You’ll run crisp cycles—tight discovery, relevant demos, tailored proposals, real ROI—and keep a forecast the team can execute against. You’ll also represent Quicklizard at select industry events, build early relationships with Chief Merchants and Heads of Pricing, and help sharpen our ICP as we learn.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution tailoring, business case, negotiation, and closing.
- Work 60–80 named accounts with various stakeholders including Pricing, Merchandising, Digital, IT, and Finance.
- Define success criteria and mutual action plans; steer evaluations and align on next steps.
- Collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and product teams to refine ICP and messaging.
- Maintain pipeline coverage, stage hygiene, and forecast accuracy in CRM.
- Capture wins and losses to refine talk tracks and qualifications.
What You Bring (Must Have)
- 3–7+ years in B2B SaaS closing roles, ideally with retailers/brands or analytics buyers.
- Proven experience with $100k–$500k ACVs and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement.
- Strong consultative discovery and storytelling skills; ability to collaborate on demos with SE/DS teams.
- North America–based, preferably in EST/CST with 20–35% travel.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with pricing optimization, demand forecasting, or markdown logic.
- Experience with HubSpot/Salesforce and curiosity for open, extensible platforms (Python/SQL literacy helpful).
