Overview

At Quickbase, we are on a mission to eliminate Gray Work. We empower organizations to centralize processes and data, reducing waste and increasing productivity using our innovative Dynamic Work Management platform.

Role: AI Agent Development Intern

Reporting to VP, Global Onboarding & TA, this internship is based in Bulgaria with a hybrid work arrangement. Over a 6-month duration starting October 2025, you will collaborate with HR, People Operations, and department leaders to build an AI-powered onboarding assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Innovate and automate candidate closing processes.
  • Design & build a personalized AI agent for new hires.
  • Integrate onboarding materials, FAQs, and processes.
  • Create intuitive conversational flows and knowledge structures.
  • Explore integrations with our HR tech stack using API, JavaScript, and HTML.
  • Conduct pilots, gather feedback, and iterate improvements.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, Rasa, Dialogflow) or keen to learn.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Interest in user experience design and conversational AI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and independent work ethic.
