About the Role
Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist I in Kokomo, IN. This role involves performing high complexity testing on specimens using state-of-the-art laboratory instrumentation, while adhering to laboratory procedures and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
- Analyze specimens using approved testing protocols and release test results.
- Maintain and document test analyses and proficiency testing.
- Identify and resolve testing issues or escalate to supervisors.
- Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines.

This position offers a competitive hourly rate with shift differentials, annual performance bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including vacation, health/flex time, 401(k), and more. It is scheduled Monday to Friday with rotational weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- BS in Medical Technology preferred, or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree.
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in high complexity testing is preferred.
