Role Overview: Data Centre Engineer

Join QRT’s Global Infrastructure Team to manage the design, build, and operations of global data centres and co-location sites that support real-time trading operations in major financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee physical build and maintenance of global data centres.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for on-site installations, upgrades, and expansions.
• Ensure implementations follow operational, security, and cabling standards.
• Maintain detailed infrastructure documentation including designs and layouts.
• Participate in new project rollouts and global trading infrastructure deployments.
• Collaborate with global teams to align physical infrastructure with performance goals.
• Support BAU operations and new build-out projects with necessary travel.

Your Profile and Skillset

• Knowledge of data centre environments and financial exchange co-location ecosystems, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Experience managing third-party vendors for on-site changes and deployments.
• High standards for physical build quality and meticulous attention to infrastructure layouts.
• Strong documentation and organization skills with a focus on maintainability.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, globally distributed team environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
