Job Description
Mobile Automation Architect
Qualitest acq is seeking a Mobile Automation Architect to lead the strategy, design, and implementation of automation frameworks for Android and iOS apps. This role involves integrating these frameworks into broader UI/API automation ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mobile automation solution design across iOS and Android platforms.
- Build scalable automation frameworks utilizing Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or similar technologies.
- Integrate tools for effective device cloud testing, such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Drive AI-assisted development using LLM APIs and GitHub Copilot.
- Establish and promote best practices for mobile CI/CD and testability.
- Guide teams on advanced instrumentation, debugging, logging, and performance optimization techniques.
- Mentor mobile QA teams, ensuring successful adoption of developed frameworks.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in automation, with at least 5 years focused on mobile automation.
- Strong proficiency in automation tools like Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, or Python.
- Demonstrated experience using LLMs or GitHub Copilot to enhance automation workflows.
- Proven experience with device farms, app deployment pipelines, and the mobile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
