Systems Design Engineer - Qualcomm
Qualcomm France S.A.R.L. is seeking a Systems Design Engineer to join our Engineering Group.
About the Role
Qualcomm France-QITC develops interconnects for complex SoCs, focusing on low power, higher system bandwidth, greater IP flexibility, fewer global wires, easier timing convergence, and faster time to market. Our QITC NoC solution includes a full suite of automated NoC Design Tools to enhance designer productivity. The engineer in this role will implement system-level platforms based on Qualcomm IPs, targeting FPGA Emulation or RTL simulation. These platforms will be used by the validation team for CPU to DDR functional verification and performance analysis of Snapdragon IPs and Chips.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain system-level platforms for RTL simulation and FPGA Emulation.
- Integrate Snapdragon IPs (CPUs, SMMU, interconnects, memory controllers) using SystemVerilog.
- Provide functional platforms to the validation team by running and debugging integration and system-level test cases.
- Implement system platforms on various Emulators.
- Potentially design RTL modules for testbenches, such as traffic generators or DDR memory models, using SystemVerilog or C (DPI-C).
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong RTL development skills: SystemVerilog/Verilog integration and design.
- Proficiency in RTL Simulation and debugging.
- Solid understanding of Systems: Bus Protocols, DDR, SOC.
- Knowledge of Emulation methodologies.
Additional Skills
- Experience with Python, C, C++.
- Strong motivation and team spirit.
- Familiarity with Linux and ModelSim working environments.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience will be considered if the candidate can demonstrate the ability to fulfill the principal duties of the role and possesses the required competencies.
