RTL Feasibility Engineer AI ML Processors
Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking an RTL Feasibility Engineer specializing in AI/ML Processors. This role is part of the Engineering Group, specifically within DSP Architecture and Design. You will be involved in the microarchitecture and logic design development of Qualcomm’s state-of-the-art AI/ML processors, which are utilized in a wide array of applications. As a member of the AI/ML processor logic design team, your primary focus will be on providing rapid feedback on the Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) feasibility of design features.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with architects, micro-architects, and logic designers to provide essential feedback on power, timing, and area.
- Conduct logic synthesis, early static timing analysis, and early power analysis for designs prior to the full implementation cycle.
- Evaluate all facets of the design process, from the instruction set architecture through to implementation.
- Utilize a suite of system tools, including digital design simulators, design synthesis engines, and power estimation engines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered with tools and design flows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, and Shell scripting.
- Familiarity with SystemVerilog and RTL design concepts.
- Experience with Git and other version control systems.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 2+ years of relevant experience in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a similar domain. Alternatively, a Master's degree in a related field with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD in a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in high-performance microprocessor design.
