The Role of a Radio Interface Design Intern – 5G/6G Systems
As a Qualcomm Radio Interface Design Intern – 5G/6G Systems, you will be deeply involved in cutting-edge R&D related to radio interface design for emerging 5G/6G areas. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the next generation of wireless communication technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Physical Layer (PHY) techniques for advanced applications such as non-terrestrial networks, broadcast systems, and sidelink communications.
- Contribute to the development of L2/network techniques, including the exploration of ad-hoc networks and relaying mechanisms.
Required Programming Languages
- C++
- Matlab
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Demonstrated academic or project experience in signal processing, information theory, network theory, or communication theory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity and knowledge of cellular standards, such as 3GPP.
