Job Overview
The FY26 Summer Intern role involves working on Build Tools and Data Solutions for Smarter Vehicles. You will develop tools to validate and visualize data quality, as well as work on modern visualization integration using Rerun.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a Ground Truth Differ tool to analyze annotation datasets side-by-side.
- Create a quality report module summarizing key metrics.
- Rank and group differences between dataset versions.
- Detect missing or unexpectedly removed files with sanity checks.
- Develop statistics to understand and visualize data distributions.
- Port visualizers to the Rerun tool for lane and traffic-sign perception.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for master students in their 3rd or 4th year studying machine learning, computer science, or related fields. Strong skills in Python are essential, with additional advantage given to knowledge in Qt, Pandas, Polars, computer vision, and data visualization techniques.
