Automation Engineer Senior at Qualcomm
Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer Senior to join its Engineering Group, specializing in Software Engineering. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks that are scalable across various System-on-Chips (SoCs), cockpit/ADAS/Flex domains, and SKUs.
General Summary
The successful candidate will possess at least 2 to 5 years of experience in the following key areas:
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks scalable across SoCs, cockpit/ADAS/Flex domains, SKUs etc.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality.
- Enable functional, performance, power/thermal, stability and compliance testing through automation.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure early defect detection and faster release cycles.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
- OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Required Expertise
- Programming Expertise: Python, Java, or C++ with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Automation Tools: Axiom, PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar.
- CI/CD & DevOps: Jenkins, Git, Docker, and experience with cloud execution environments.
- SoC Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with interfaces like PCIe, DDR, I2C, hardware bring-up, and protocol validation.
- Framework Design: Ability to design scalable, maintainable automation architectures.
- Compliance & Safety: Experience with ASPICE/FuSa traceability and coverage automation.
