Role Overview: Staff Site Reliability Engineer

Join Qonto as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to build a reliable and scalable architecture at a European level. You will help streamline the platform, enhance automation, and collaborate with various teams to design, deploy, and maintain a robust microservice infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to building and deploying a new European-level banking architecture.
  • Collaborate with backend, frontend, and security engineers to design robust solutions.
  • Automate tasks to reduce manual toil while improving velocity.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and conduct post-incident reviews.
  • Share knowledge by communicating, documenting, and presenting technical insights.

Technology Stack

You will work with cloud providers (AWS, GCP), container technologies (Kubernetes with EKS & GKE, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Karpenter), CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), monitoring tools (Prometheus, Thanos, OpenTelemetry, OpsGenie, Elasticsearch, Loki), databases and messaging systems (AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, SQS, Redis, Kafka), the Go programming language, and Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.

You will develop microservices to reduce toil, design scalable solutions for high load scenarios, propose innovative solutions with autonomy, and work with modern stacks and GitOps practices while ensuring cost efficiency.

You will report to Morgan, a leader who emphasizes autonomy, trust, and team spirit, encouraging continuous learning and clear objective alignment.

About You

You are experienced in infrastructure tool development and Kubernetes management. You possess programming skills to create scalable automation solutions, a pragmatic approach to problem solving, and a mindset committed to continuous improvement. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
