About Qonto and the Role
Our mission at Qonto is to create freedom for SMEs by delivering Europe’s leading finance workspace. As a Security Engineer, you will help protect our systems and applications while ensuring safe scaling as we work towards becoming a Credit Institution.
What You Will Do
You will use your strong security expertise to audit applications, discover and mitigate vulnerabilities, and design security features. Your day-to-day tasks include:
- Securing Qonto’s tech stack including AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and more.
- Applying threat modeling and setting team roadmaps.
- Developing internal tools to identify and mitigate risks.
- Collaborating with developers and product teams during reviews.
- Conducting forensic analysis and security incident investigations.
Team and Impact
You will join a team of 8 Security Engineers led by Ayoub and report directly to Pierre, the Security Team Lead. Your work will directly impact Qonto’s ability to scale securely while maintaining high standards in the InfoSec domain.
What You Bring
A strong background in cloud security (AWS or similar), coding skills (Python is expected, Golang is a plus), and hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and secure CI/CD practices. Fluency in English and a collaborative mindset are essential.
