About the Role: Data Platform Engineer

Join Qonto as a Data Platform Engineer, where you will build and maintain a scalable data platform that empowers our AI and Data teams. Acting as a technical bridge between our Data Platform and AI Product teams, you will ensure our infrastructure is robust enough to support advanced machine learning models and data projects.

• Run and Evolve the Data Platform: Own set-up, management, and stability of infrastructure tools including Airflow, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Bridge with AI Products: Collaborate with the AI team to implement tools for operationalizing machine learning models.
• Drive Cross-team Initiatives: Lead projects autonomously ensuring alignment between teams.
• Ensure Engineering Excellence: Review design decisions, enforce high code quality standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Your Future Manager

You will report to Charles, a transitioning leader from Staff Engineer to Data Platform team lead, who values autonomy and collaboration.

About You

• 4+ years experience in Software or Data Engineering focused on infrastructure.
• Proficient in Python with experience in SQL and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in orchestration tools like Airflow and familiarity with CI/CD.
• Strong communication skills to bridge technical requirements across teams.
• Fluent English required.
