Role Overview

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer based in APAC region. As part of the Technical Success organization you will be responsible with helping our clients deploy and tune Qdrant. You will act as a technical expert delivering short term technical engagements with our clients. Working closely with Solutions architect, technical support and technical success you will be an integral part of making our enterprise customers successful.

What You Will Own

  • Become a search expert in vector search to solve real-world problems.
  • Provide deep technical expertise for customer engagements involving Qdrant, designing and deploying scalable, high-performance search solutions.
  • Lead architectural reviews, migration assessments, and workshops focused on search, agentic AI, and RAG solutions.
  • Understand customer requirements and use your skills to validate performance and result relevancy.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Developer Relations, and Support to ensure customers have a great experience with the product.
  • Continuously extend your semantic search skills and keep up with the latest use cases.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of technical solution delivery in a customer facing role.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical requirements.
  • Experience with Python and one other language.
  • Demonstrated success deploying Solutions using no-sql databases

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes and Cloud native deployments
  • Experience with other Search solution ( SOLR, Lucene etc.)
  • Machine Learning Engineering or equivalent solution design
  • Experience tuning a complex system to gain performance and reliability
