Job Details

Job Title: Private Banking Representative

The Private Banking Representative is responsible for providing support to the Private Banking team to maximize client relationships. This role focuses on developing and retaining client relationships by delivering professional service and recommending appropriate banking products and services.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and client support via phone and email.
  • Handle routine account requests including check orders, disputes, transfers, deposits, withdrawals, HSA and IRA paperwork.
  • Open and revise accounts ensuring complete documentation.
  • Cross-sell bank products and refer customers to appropriate personnel.
  • Process loan requests and manage maintenance and document submissions.
  • Resolve routine account and loan operational issues and keep officers informed.
  • Conduct customer research to resolve discrepancies.
  • Plan team meetings and manage special projects including policy documentation.
  • Coordinate with Marketing for creating items and manage proposal preparation.
  • Create reports, compile data and manage correspondence.
  • Serve as backup to the Senior Vice President of Private Banking.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of banking products, department systems, and technology.
  • Invest in building and growing key relationships with clients and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year in banking, customer service, or administrative experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and sensitive information with precision.
  • Proficiency in various banking software and Microsoft 365 tools.
