Claims Adjuster Crop Intern

Overview

The Claims Adjuster Crop Intern role at QBE North America is a ten-week summer program designed to introduce you to the core responsibilities of a crop claims adjuster. You will gain insight into claims investigation, field inspections, compliance, and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities

• Gain in-field training on loss adjustment procedures.
• Develop and implement performance coaching plans.
• Monitor and follow-up effective profit improvement plans.
• Shadow field adjusters and specialists to learn claims processes.
• Build relationships with the immediate and broader QBE team.

Qualifications

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in the Agricultural industry and be returning to college/university after the internship. Applied knowledge of agriculture and crop farming is essential. The role is available from June 1st, 2026, to August 7th, 2026.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time role offering an hourly pay rate between $20.00 and $21.00. Location & Work Arrangement

This role is fully remote for candidates located in Southcentral Illinois, with occasional travel required within the state.
