Water Treatment Sales Manager at PWG Portugal

PWG Portugal, a prominent player in the Portuguese water treatment and pool markets since 1999, is seeking an ambitious Sales Manager with a strong technical background. As part of the global Pollet Water Group, we specialize in designing and supplying water treatment systems and components for industrial and domestic applications. Our mission is to enhance quality of life, business comfort, and industrial efficiency by providing perfectly treated water solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sustainable, long-term customer relationships and drive sales in the water treatment sector.
  • Analyze, develop, and expand the existing customer base, strengthening recurring business and identifying new B2B sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and negotiate project sales proposals aligned with ambitious growth strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with customers' project managers and technical engineers to understand needs, recommend solutions, and ensure clear project planning.
  • Drive sales of components for water treatment systems and manage chemical water treatment applications.
  • Manage customer relationships and stakeholders throughout the sales process, project execution, and after-sales service.
  • Monitor market trends, new products, pricing, and competitors, identifying opportunities for the Portuguese market.
  • Support water treatment inventory management to optimize customer sales.
  • Be flexible with travel within Portugal; the office is based in São Domingos de Rana.
  • Join a dedicated water treatment sales team and contribute to the Pollet Group family.

Candidate Profile

  • University or Master's degree, ideally in chemical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in sector-related projects or with chemical water treatment installations and technologies is a significant advantage.
  • Proven track record in sales & business development, with experience providing technical solutions to industrial clients.
  • Sales-driven and results-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Skilled in developing and supporting existing customer databases and acquiring new clients.
