About the Role
The Audit Intern Summer 2027 at PwC offers an opportunity to work in financial statement audits and assurance engagements. As part of the audit team, you will provide independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information. This role supports compliance reviews, risk management processes, and helps in issuing auditor reports.
Responsibilities
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Apply GAAP, GAAS, and PwC audit methodologies.
- Engage in data analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and disclosures.
- Collaborate with team members to manage client relationships.
- Learn and apply internal controls and compliance auditing techniques.
- Utilize data visualization tools for financial data presentation.
- Participate in risk identification and management processes.
- Develop an understanding of accounting policies and standards.
- Communicate effectively and contribute to team initiatives.
- Apply project management skills for coordination of audit tasks.
What You Must Have
Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and meeting educational requirements for the CPA exam. A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 is required, with a preference for a 3.3 GPA. Candidates should be in their third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.
