About the role
This role sits within our Finance and Operations Transformation team and covers a wide variety of engagement types including operational excellence, performance improvement and finance transformation. You will have the opportunity to work with both private and public sector clients across industries as diverse as agriculture to banking. We are looking for a Senior Analyst with a financial background to join our Finance and Operations Transformation team in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland.
Skills and experience
We are looking for an experienced operations professional with a Finance background. As a Senior Analyst in the Finance and Operations Transformation team, our ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years financial work experience ideally including experience working in a professional services or consulting environment
- Ability to support and deliver engagements and support the conversion of new business opportunities through both relationship development and competitive tender situations.
- Strong relationship management skills with the confidence to engage with staff at all levels including Executive Teams and Boards.
- Change and project management experience is preferred
- Ability to work in a highly agile environment and support the delivery of complex engagements.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to tell a story and convey key messages.
- Strong financial literacy is critical, ideally underpinned by the attainment of a professional qualification such as CA or CFA, or be demonstrably working towards one
- Strong proficiency in Excel is important, and experience with data analysis and visualisation tools such as Power BI and Alteryx would be an asset.
