You'll work with technologies like Python, FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, Azure AI Search, and GenAI to create scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping future digital experiences, from designing intuitive UIs to implementing complex backend logic and integrating advanced AI features like RAG-based search and intelligent agents.

Your Daily Responsibilities

As an Experienced Web Application Developer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including UX designers, AI specialists, cloud engineers, and business analysts. Your contributions will be essential for delivering robust, user-centric applications that meet business needs and exceed client expectations. Your role will be dynamic, adapting to project requirements from architectural design to hands-on coding and deployment.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable web applications using Python (FastAPI) and React.
  • Implementing secure and optimized data models with PostgreSQL.
  • Integrating Azure AI Search and GenAI-powered features, including RAG pipelines, into applications.
  • Applying SOLID principles and best practices in software engineering.
  • Creating UML diagrams, wireframes, and technical documentation for system design.
  • Building and deploying containerized applications using Docker.
  • Collaborating effectively in Scrum teams, utilizing tools like Azure DevOps or Jira for agile delivery.
  • Ensuring high-quality code through rigorous version control (Git) and automated testing.
  • Bridging communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.

What You Bring

You are passionate about crafting elegant, efficient, and scalable web solutions. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy tackling complex technical challenges. You possess strong programming skills combined with a solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.

  • At least 3 years of experience in web application development.
  • Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Azure AI Search, GenAI concepts, and RAG-based, Agentic AI implementations is a significant advantage.
  • Strong grasp of SOLID principles, UML, and fundamental software engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Scrum, and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to design wireframes and translate them into functional applications.
  • Skilled in version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.
