Frontend Developer UI/UX at PwC Nederland

Do you want to build intuitive digital solutions that make a real difference for users? Are you looking for a role where you can combine frontend development and UI/UX design in both client-facing and internal projects?

As a Frontend Developer UI/UX, you will work on web applications where technology, design, and usability come together. You will create intuitive interfaces for internal tools and client solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to design decisions, component structures, and user journeys. In this role, you will also gain insight into finance and accounting processes and help translate complex business needs into clear digital experiences.

What You'll Do

You will be part of an inclusive team where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and quality are central. You will work on meaningful projects where your frontend and UX expertise directly contributes to solutions for both colleagues and clients, using modern technology including AI tools where relevant.

In this role, you will design, build, and improve responsive and accessible web interfaces using React JavaScript or TypeScript. You will translate business requirements into clear and user-friendly experiences, work closely with backend developers on API integrations, and help maintain a consistent design and development standard across projects. You will do this in agile teams, with a strong focus on maintainable code, clear documentation, and continuous improvement of the user experience.

  • Build and maintain frontend solutions for internal tools and client-facing projects using React JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Design wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to validate and improve concepts before implementation.
  • Contribute to user research, usability testing, and design reviews to strengthen the user experience.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs, including solutions built with FastAPI or Django.
  • Help develop and maintain design systems, component libraries, UI guidelines, and frontend documentation.

Who You Are

You enjoy working with different disciplines and know how to translate technical and functional requirements into practical, user-centered solutions. You take initiative, think analytically, and keep a strong focus on quality, accessibility, and usability.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Informatics, Information Technology, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in frontend development and/or UI/UX design.
  • Strong experience with React and with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design.
  • Experience in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Experience or interest in developing applications which adhere to accessibility standards like WCAG.
