Senior AI Security Consultant at PwC Ireland
As a Senior Associate within our Cybersecurity AI Security team at PwC Ireland, you will play a crucial role as part of a team of problem solvers. Your work will involve helping clients solve complex business issues, spanning from strategic planning to execution within the rapidly evolving field of AI security. This position aligns with the PwC Professional framework, which outlines the global leadership development expectations, skills, and career progression paths within the firm.
As a Senior AI Security Consultant, your skills and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of AI Security Programmes for clients across a diverse range of sectors.
- Manage numerous engagements, with a primary focus on safeguarding AI systems and ensuring their security and integrity.
- Conduct thorough security assessments of AI systems, benchmarking them against industry-leading frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST AI RMF, to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate protection measures.
- Collaborate closely with clients to deeply understand their AI security requirements, ensuring that all engagements are delivered to the highest quality and professional standards.
- Stay continuously informed about emerging AI security technologies, evolving threat landscapes, and critical industry trends, incorporating this knowledge into solution design and security recommendations.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise on AI-related security regulations and best practices to clients across various sectors, ensuring compliance and robust security postures.
Your profile for this role should include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in delivering cybersecurity projects specifically focused on AI systems and technologies.
- A proven track record of successfully executing complex projects within consulting or professional services environments.
- An in-depth understanding of core AI security principles and broader cybersecurity domains, including model integrity, data privacy, and adversarial attacks.
- Familiarity with AI-specific security tools and established frameworks is highly advantageous.
- Experience with designing secure AI models and implementing robust security measures would be significantly beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of overarching cybersecurity and AI frameworks, relevant regulations, and critical compliance standards.
- Experience utilizing AI to enhance cybersecurity measures and drive operational efficiencies is a definite plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dynamic and diverse team environment.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects concurrently while consistently adhering to deadlines.
