About the Role

PWC Ireland is seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join the Office of General Counsel (OGC) team. The role supports the growing Irish business in consulting, technology, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate, manage and run complex contract negotiations including non-standard and global agreements.
  • Focus on technology implementation, managed services, and IT related contracts.
  • Serve as the OGC point of contact and lead contracts lawyer for technology contracting.
  • Advise on data protection law and negotiate data protection terms.
  • Collaborate on cross border deals including Global Framework Agreements and Master Services Agreements.
  • Create precedents and guidance notes across PwC’s business.
  • Stay updated on legal changes and regulations impacting the business.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a highly regarded OGC team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • At least 6 years PQE with in-house or top-tier law firm experience.
  • Expertise in commercial contract negotiation, especially within technology and managed services.
  • Solid drafting, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to assess commercial, reputational and legal aspects of deals.
  • Experience with data protection and privacy law is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
