Sustainability ESG Advisory Specialist

At PwC, our Sustainability ESG Advisory team integrates environmental, social, economic, and governance considerations into business strategies and operations. The role involves working on sustainability in deals, providing consulting services to integrate sustainability principles into mergers & acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze environmental and social risks using global frameworks.
  • Conduct impact assessments and develop sustainability strategies.
  • Offer guidance on transitioning to sustainable and purpose-led business models.
  • Leverage experience in impact strategy, pre and post deal assessments.

Desired and Mandatory Skills

Experience with sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB and ESG ratings methodologies is required. Practical knowledge in setting up ESG policies, defining targets, and implementation of projects is essential. Familiarity with due diligence for targets based on framework like IFC and ADB and awareness of the processes for becoming a signatory to the PRI are important.
