Job Overview

At PwC, as the Director – Risk Analytics, you will lead large and complex risk projects in financial markets, operational and governance risks. Building advanced analytics frameworks using AI, automation, and data visualization tools is a core aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage comprehensive risk analytics projects.
  • Architect risk analytics frameworks with AI/ML and automation.
  • Oversee design of dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Python, VBA, and SQL.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk governance standards.
  • Drive change management and innovation within risk frameworks.
  • Manage cross-functional teams and strengthen client relationships.
  • Engage in business development and proposal creation within risk advisory.

Required Skills & Experience

10-15 years of experience in financial risk management and analytics in the banking or consulting sectors. Must have deep expertise in market, operational, and regulatory risk frameworks and hands-on experience with Python, VBA, SQL, Power BI, and exposure to AI/ML. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management capabilities are essential.

Educational & Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics (MBA preferred). Certifications such as CFA Level III, FRM Level II, or equivalent risk management credentials are highly desired. Machine Learning or AI courses are a plus.
