PwC is pursuing its global strategy, The New Equation, driven by human capital, responsible societal commitments, and supported by technology. In this context, we are investing in cloud utilization, AI, technological alliances, virtual reality, and emerging technologies.
Our Data and AI community in France currently brings together 300 experts (Data Strategists, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, PO Data, etc.), covering the entire value chain from strategy to execution. Our goal is to support our clients across all their businesses and entities in their data transformation.
What You Can Expect From Us
As a Manager Data Strategy & Governance, you will immerse yourself in a fascinating and diverse range of consulting missions for our key clients, spanning various sectors including industry, finance, retail, and the public sector. You will play a pivotal role in restructuring the audit and consulting landscape, contributing to the transformation of these industries.
The projects you will be involved in will cover a wide spectrum of activities central to data governance:
- Data Strategy
- Data Quality Management
- Master Data Management
- Data cataloging and modeling
- BI & Analytics
- Support for Data projects
Given the interdependence of these capabilities, we offer our consultants the opportunity to work on various components of data governance.
You will be responsible for managing consultants placed with clients, for whom you will oversee the commercial relationship. You will also be tasked with developing the data practice's service offerings through various commercial development initiatives, such as creating differentiated offers, developing targeted responses via our dedicated industry and business guilds, and designing assets to support commercial prospecting.
Your Missions
You will support General Management, business lines, and CDOs in the digital transformation of their organizations by focusing on:
- Planning, Information System Governance & Data-Driven Transformation
- Data & Metadata Architecture
- Data Strategy & Governance
- Management of Data Quality, Metadata, Master Data, and Security
- Support for Business Stakeholders and Project Teams on good data governance practices
What We Expect From You
- Proficiency in both English and French in a professional context.
- Mastery of data management and governance topics, in collaboration with key stakeholders such as Data Office, Business interlocutors, Data Factory, Data Platform, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with data visualization or data management tools (DQM, MDM, Data catalog, etc.).
- Ability to propose approaches combining the various data expertise areas of the practice (Analytics & Data products, AI & Data Science, Data Strategy & Governance).
- Professional experience of at least 6 years in consulting.
- Ability to independently lead client missions and manage the intervention team.
- Experience and proactivity in commercial development activities.
- Aptitude for analysis and understanding of business processes & needs.
- Knowledge in data modeling and visualization.
- Knowledge and experience in project management and agile methodology.
Desired Training, Skills & Experience
- University degree or Grande École (business / engineering), preferably Bac +5.
- Ability to understand and address data-related challenges.
- Proactivity in solution development.
- Results-oriented and focused on resolving business challenges.
- Autonomy, pragmatism, and responsiveness.
- Notable experience in management and/or commercial development.
- Analytical, synthesis, and presentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate and unite teams.

- Ability to popularize and simplify complex topics for different audiences.
- Good listening skills.
- Data Certification (DAMA, etc.) is a plus.
