PwC, a global leader in professional services, is in a continuous process of expansion and growth across its various business lines. In this context, we are looking to incorporate new professionals who accept the challenge of developing their careers within our Deals, Transactions Services business division.Our ESG Sustainability Deals team helps organizations create value through sustainability. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of ESG strategies in transactions and operations for Private Equity and corporate clients. If you believe sustainability is a value-creation lever in Transactions, and you have experience in ESG due diligence, sustainable finance, and decarbonization projects, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate ESG due diligence work in transactions for Private Equity and corporate clients, ensuring effective integration of ESG criteria into investment and decision-making processes.
- Develop and implement customized ESG strategies for our clients, including specific policies and projects that improve their performance and value creation through sustainability.
- Estimate and quantify the impact of environmental, social, and governance aspects on company valuations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions that address our clients' ESG challenges.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Finance, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or certification in ESG or sustainable finance will be positively valued.
- Demonstrable experience in roles related to ESG, sustainability, sustainable finance, or transaction consulting.
- In-depth knowledge of European regulations and standards in sustainable finance, such as SFDR and the EU Taxonomy.
- Ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish; other European languages will be considered a plus.
