Data Governance Consultant - Associate & Senior Associate
A career within the Data Governance practice will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients develop an effective data governance program that brings them closer to their ambition of becoming “data-driven”.
As companies advance in their digital transformation, more data is generated and shared between organizations, partners, and clients exponentially. As a Data Governance team, we play an integral role in helping clients (of any sector and geography) overcome the challenges that prevent them from achieving this ambition: e.g. information silos, poor data quality, duplications, lack of trust in data and reports.
What You'll Do
We are currently looking for an experienced profile for our Data Consulting Department, specifically with experience in Data Strategy & Data Governance. We expect the candidate to have demonstrable experience and skills in the following fields:
- Define and deploy a corporate data strategy.
- Define and/or adapt Data Governance frameworks based on international standards (DAMA, DCAM, …).
- Support Chief Data Officers (CDO) or Head of Data (HoD) in fulfilling their mandate.
- Define data-related roles and responsibilities (data owner, steward, architect, …).
- Align data management and governance aspects with business, IT, security, and corporate privacy areas.
- Define and implement models for Data Quality, Metadata, Security, and Data Privacy management.
- Define and implement change management and data culture initiatives.
- Define data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Advise on and/or operate supporting tools such as Collibra, Purview, Informatica (IDQ/EDC/Axon), IBM InfoSphere, or Alation.
Requirements
- You have a background in IT (computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, industrial engineering, mathematics) or business (ADE).
- You have between 2 and 5 years of experience in the aspects detailed above.
- You communicate and present results effectively in English and Spanish.
- You are an open, proactive, and committed person with the ambition to grow professionally.
- Experience managing teams will be valued.
