As a Consultant Procurement at PwC Deutschland, you will join our rapidly growing Transformation business unit, supporting clients across diverse industries in enhancing their procurement structures and processes. This role focuses on defining the future of procurement through innovative solutions and strategic implementation.

What to Expect

Procurement: You will be an integral member of our fast-growing team, helping clients across various industries improve their procurement structures and processes.

Einkaufsoptimierung (Procurement Optimization): From optimizing purchasing processes through E-Procurement solutions, driving procurement transformations, and developing sustainable procurement concepts, to defining and implementing negotiation strategies based on auction theory, you will guide our clients through a wide range of topics.

Projekte (Projects): You will be part of demanding, exciting, and varied projects in the procurement sector, supporting everything from proposal generation and project planning to project implementation on national and international levels.

Teamarbeit (Teamwork): Personal exchange and team building are important to us! Additionally, within our project teams, you will be given (partial) responsibility for achieving project goals from the outset, receiving space and support for your continuous development.

Expertise: We jointly define the future of procurement. You will contribute your expertise and experience, actively shaping the path forward for our clients.

What You Bring

• You have obtained a very good Master's degree in Economics, (Industrial) Engineering, or related MINT fields.
• You possess initial professional experience, preferably in strategic procurement. You are either an all-rounder in procurement or bring specific expertise in one or more of the following procurement topics:
  • Direct/Indirect Procurement Optimization
  • Spend Analytics
  • Strategy & Transformation
  • Digital Procurement (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba)
  • Game Theory-based Negotiation
  • Sustainability
  • Managed Services
• You enjoy working in a team and can successfully apply your analytical and communication skills, combined with initiative, within a project team.
• Your business-fluent German and English skills enable you to interact with our national and international clients at all times.
