About The Team Manager

Tomáš Karas, a senior manager, leads our data experts and business intelligence projects. He functions as both a data architect and project manager, guiding teams in building large data warehouses and leveraging data to simplify and automate processes, saving clients significant operational time. Outside of work, Tomáš enjoys social gatherings with the team or caring for his extensive home zoo, which includes two children and approximately 80 guinea pigs from their family farm.

Job Description & Summary

As a Data Mesh Architect, you will be instrumental in shaping our clients' data architecture frameworks with a primary focus on Data Mesh principles. Working within a collaborative team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining data architecture frameworks that champion decentralized data ownership.
• Implementing Data Mesh concepts to boost scalability and data accessibility.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
• Ensuring adherence to modern data governance practices and standards.
• Analyzing data architecture needs and offering strategic recommendations.
• Engaging with stakeholders to capture requirements and communicate architectural decisions effectively.

Requirements of the Role

• University degree.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture and modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Mesh concepts and implementation strategies.
• Proficiency in modern data platforms and governance practices.
• Strong analytical skills and effective stakeholder relationship management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
