Job Description

Technology Risk and Compliance Analyst

At PwC Australia, the work undertaken in Tech Hub covers a range of areas from leading and supporting the company through to the build or adoption of new technology, to protecting against risk, and delivering valuable data insights that transform our technology capabilities. As a Technology Risk and Compliance Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the risk team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating technology risks within the organisation and assisting the firm to meet its technology regulatory and internal obligations, working with clients across Tech Hub to establish policies and procedures to manage technology risks and issues to ensure compliance with obligations and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Assisting in conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation plans.
  • Supporting the monitoring and reporting on technology risks.
  • Building knowledge within the business technology representative population to improve compliance with risk management policies.
  • Supporting the facilitation of risk-related training activities.
  • Contributing to an evolving risk and compliance function, identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing risk reports for senior management.

  • Understanding of risk management and compliance principles.
  • Facilitating of risk assessments and knowledge of relevant technology regulations and standards.
  • Providing technical expertise to offer advice, influence others, and directly contribute to solutions.
  • Solving complex work problems by leveraging overarching guardrails, experience, and strong judgment.
  • Providing daily direction and supervision for more junior members of the team.
  • Planning priorities for the year and manage your own responsibilities and workload based on the direction.
  • Collaborating across teams to drive results.
