GIS(FME) Team Focus

As part of the GIS(FME) team, you will contribute to the development, design, and delivery of Geographic Information System services for utility industry clients. You will supervise and mentor junior team members, manage diverse perspectives, and foster consensus to achieve favorable results. Integrate strategic thinking, technical proficiency, and successful collaboration to drive GIS initiatives across various client functions, including GIS applications, data conversions, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Gathering requirements, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining GIS custom applications and data integration solutions.
• Developing/Customizing GIS Solutions in ArcGIS Pro.
• Building Arcade expressions for network and topology rules, attribute rules, constraints, etc.
• Building Geoprocessing models using ArcGIS Model Builder and ArcPy.
• Automating repetitive GIS tasks with scripts and workflows to boost efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Understanding of Esri Utility Network—Containers, Association, Network Diagrams, Terminal configurations, etc.
• Managing software in source control systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Helping build CI/CD pipelines for code deployment.
• Facilitating UAT with end users, participating in ST and SIT.

What You Must Have

• Minimum of five years’ experience with Esri ArcGIS Software (Enterprise, Desktop, Server, ArcGIS Pro, StoryMaps).
• Strong knowledge of Dot Net Framework.
• Proficient in ArcGIS Pro, including Analysis (Geoprocessing), Automation (Tasks), setting up projects, map files, symbology, and layout.
• Strong understanding and development experience using Arcade expressions.
• Proficient in ArcGIS Pro Objects for developing solutions.
• Experience in GP – ArcPy Scripting, Python.
• Experience in UN framework.
• Experience in developing SOE/SOI.
• Map Configuration and development—publish Services.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to ever-changing situations.
• Ability to work independently, take direction, and proactively manage time and work to maintain project schedules.
