Associate Cloud Architect and Platform Engineer

About the Role

At PwC's Acceleration Center India, our Cloud Architecture & Platform Engineering team focuses on designing, implementing, and managing robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructures and services. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations and high availability for our clients by monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing industry-leading practices for cloud-based systems. Key Responsibilities

• Provisioning infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and cloud resources.
• Developing automation scripts and tooling using IT automation tools.
• Building CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Monitoring system performance to analyze performance, security, and reliability.
• Integrating security and compliance into the platform with encryption and access management.
• Documenting configurations and processes for clear understanding across teams.
• Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to meet platform needs.
• Researching emerging technologies and their potential impact on the platform.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud technologies.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Terraform Cloud, Ansible, GitHub Enterprise, Jfrog Artifactory, Puppet, and Python.
• Experience with infrastructure and application monitoring tools (e.g., OTel, Datadag, CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
• Familiarity with Prisma Cloud and Alkira.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Associate, or DevOps certifications.
