About the Role

Those in cloud operations at PwC will focus on managing and optimising cloud infrastructure and services to enable seamless operations and high availability for clients. You will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing industry leading practices for cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Administering configurations for various environments.
- Maintaining applications.
- Communicating with platform users and stakeholders.
- Preparing reports for systems and assets.
- Provisioning infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and cloud.
- Developing automation scripts and tooling using an IT automation tool.
- Building a CI/CD pipeline, including build/test/deployment workflows.
- Monitoring system performance to analyze performance, security, and reliability.
- Integrating security and compliance into the platform with encryption and access management.
- Documenting configurations and processes so different teams understand how to use the same platform.
- Collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to understand their platform needs.
- Researching emerging technologies for platform integration and impact assessment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on cloud platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Certifications in Terraform, AWS DevOps, and Azure DevOps are highly desirable.
- Technical experience in AWS and Azure services and technologies.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Infrastructure and Application monitoring (OTel, Datadag, CloudWatch, CloudTrail), Terraform Cloud, Ansible, GitHub EMU, Jfrog Artifactory, Puppet, Python.
- Experience with Prisma Cloud and Alkira.
