Overview
The Construction Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of hospitality construction projects, including food & beverage outlets, hotels, and attractions. You will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are finished on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform due diligence and collaborate on project approvals
- Create and manage RFPs for design teams and contractors
- Oversee project planning, including scope, budget, timelines, and resource allocation
- Lead project teams to ensure smooth collaboration across disciplines
- Manage budgets, control costs, and present financial reports
- Monitor schedules, track progress, and adjust plans as needed
- Conduct site inspections to enforce quality standards and resolve issues
- Identify, mitigate risks, and solve challenges during construction
- Act as the main contact for all project-related communications
- Oversee procurement, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with provincial and national park regulations and health & safety standards
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Minimum 5 years construction project management experience, hospitality preferred
- Experience with National Park projects preferred
- Proficiency with project management software such as MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel overnight several times per month
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Work Environment
This position can be based in Calgary, Banff or the Bow Valley, with an on-site requirement in Banff weekly for project supervision. The role is a one-year contract with potential for extension.
