Job Summary
The Associate Project Manager works closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to plan, coordinate, execute, and track all aspects of project work.
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Assist in the strategic planning of upcoming projects.
- Coordinate and manage projects from start to finish.
- Review work plans and contribute cost saving ideas.
- Prepare daily and weekly operational reports.
- Facilitate communication between office and field staff.
- Report project status updates to the project manager.
- Help solve problems and suggest improvements.
- Maintain project documents and files.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications.
- Assist in managing project budgets and timelines.
- Consult with inspectors, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain positive vendor and client relationships.
- Prepare project close-out documents including as-built drawings and videos.
- Review subcontractor materials and invoices.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s in construction management or related field preferred and 2+ years a0experience in construction management. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required along with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
