Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Analyst - SEO to join our digital marketing team at Puretech Digital. This role is ideal for someone who has a solid foundation in SEO principles, understands the technical and content-side nuances of optimization, and is eager to grow within a fast-paced, agency environment. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end SEO strategy execution - spanning site audits, keyword research, on-page & off-page recommendations, reporting, and continual technical evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research with a deep understanding of search intent, keyword clustering, and content mapping.
- Evaluate and improve information architecture and heading tag structures to enhance user journey and SEO value.
- Perform technical SEO audits, ensuring crawlability, optimal site speed, proper sitemap setup, and clean site health.
- Implement and troubleshoot Meta tags, OG tags, and structured data (Schema markup) across web pages.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals metrics - LCP, FCP, CLS - to improve site performance and user experience.
- Ensure fast-loading pages by addressing various site speed factors like image compression, server response time, and script handling.
- Understand and apply best practices around sitemap configuration, including frequency, priority, and correct formatting.
- Provide on-page recommendations: keyword-rich content, internal linking, canonicalization, and unique metadata.
- Support content creation by determining ideal content length, keyword density, semantic relevance, and overall value in line with E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authority, Trustworthiness).
- Proactively build and monitor backlink strategies using ethical link-building techniques.
- Generate and present error-free SEO reports with insights on rankings, CTR, bounce rate variations, and search performance using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and third-party SEO platforms.
Who We’re Looking For
- 1.5 to 2.5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a digital agency or performance-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or a related field.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO fundamentals (404 vs soft 404 errors, crawlability, site speed benchmarks, etc.).
- Practical experience in using SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Moz, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with HTML source code to make or suggest improvements for site crawling and indexing.
- Up-to-date with Google’s algorithm updates and how they impact search visibility and performance.
- Strong analytical skills and data interpretation capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Passion for learning and staying ahead in SEO trends, tools, and best practices.
