The Role of a Technical Programme Manager

As a Technical Programme Manager at Pure Storage, you will be instrumental in orchestrating complex software and hardware programs that power one of the industry’s most reliable, high-performance storage platforms. This is a high-visibility role where you will be the central driver for file features, guiding them from initial concept through to general availability. You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams to align engineering execution with business outcomes, streamline delivery across global teams, and ensure products reach customers with exceptional quality.

What You'll Do

• Drive program execution from definition to delivery, establishing clear structure in ambiguous environments, defining schedules, and making critical trade-offs to ensure cross-functional teams deliver on business objectives.
• Act as the technical hub for your programs, deeply analyzing system dependencies and release risks to triage issues, mitigate blockers, and make informed decisions that safeguard product quality and delivery timelines.
• Own stakeholder communication and alignment, serving as the single point of contact for program status and translating complex technical details into a clear "big picture" for executives and partners.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process changes that optimize quality, boost team productivity, and accelerate time-to-market.

What You Bring

• Software Program Management: Demonstrated experience in managing the full lifecycle (SDLC) of complex software programs, successfully shipping products to market with predictable and frequent cadences.
• Driving Execution: A strong ability to create structure and drive execution in ambiguous environments, navigating unknowns, resolving complex dependencies, and holding teams accountable for results.
• Technical Acumen: Deep technical understanding of distributed systems, ability to triage technical risks, and facilitate in-depth discussions with engineers (without needing to be a software developer).
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in influencing cross-functional teams and articulating a program's "big picture" to both technical and executive audiences.
• Analytical Problem-Solving: A proven track record of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound technical judgment and take ownership of the product experience.

Pure Storage operates primarily as an in-office environment. You will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure Storage's policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
