Role Summary

As a Sr. Data Scientist, R&D, you will drive data science and statistical projects to develop new data products, enhance bespoke segments, and refine methodologies for measurement and user identification. Your work will synthesize raw data into actionable insights, automate data reporting, and support key strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead R&D projects for direct-to-consumer (DTC) initiatives.
  • Develop new data products and enhance bespoke segmentations.
  • Design methodologies for measurement and user identification.
  • Automate data visualization and reporting for internal and external users.
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver timely and accurate data reporting.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on platform capabilities.

Requirements

Minimum 4-5+ years of experience with SQL, Excel, Python, and distributed systems like PySpark. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics or a related field is required. Experience with containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, automated reporting, and statistical modeling is essential. Ability to work remote hours (3:30pm-12:30am IST) is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ELT processes and BI tools like Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI.
  • Familiarity with automation, adtech, and health-related datasets.
  • Exposure to Google Cloud Architecture.

Red Flags

Candidates lacking deep data handling experience or solely reliant on provided SQL requirements will not succeed in this role.
