Role Overview

The FCC Operations Analyst plays a key role within Group Operations ensuring that assigned cases are thoroughly investigated in accordance with Group Investigations Procedural Standards. The role involves careful transaction monitoring and detailed case investigation to identify suspicious activities and potential risks.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review and investigate assigned cases following standard reporting requirements.
  • Analyze customer data, transaction history, and documentation for risk assessment.
  • Prepare high quality investigative narratives and digital case files.
  • Escalate cases to Compliance and collaborate with local teams.
  • Provide feedback to improve alert monitoring systems for financial crime detection.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Experience in money laundering investigations and transaction monitoring.
  • Ability to analyze customer activity with sound investigative skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards including OFAC, AMLA 2020.
  • Experience using AML software such as Actimize, SAS AML, Oracle Mantas.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.

Technical and Language Skills

  • Knowledge of transaction monitoring and case management systems.
  • ACAMS or ICA ML/FCC qualifications are preferred.
  • Fluent in English and German; French or Dutch is a plus.
