Overview

Puffy is seeking a Head of Data Infrastructure & Analytics to lead our e-commerce data operations and power strategic decisions with enterprise-grade data infrastructure and governance.

Role Responsibilities

This role is at the heart of our analytics transformation. You will architect robust systems, implement data observability frameworks, and ensure data reliability to drive confident decision-making across our high-growth D2C business.

What You'll Own

  • Data Quality Infrastructure: Audit existing tracking setup (GA4, GTM, Shopify, Klaviyo, ad platforms), build automated validation systems, implement QA processes, and create monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Technical Architecture & Reliability: Design server-side tracking for attribution accuracy, architect data pipelines for high-volume ad spend tracking, manage end-to-end data flow, and establish technical configuration standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Build QA checklists, implement data observability with automated anomaly detection and dashboards, create runbooks, and enforce a zero-tolerance culture for errors.
  • Team Leadership & Process: Manage an Analytics Manager and two Data Specialists, train the team, say no to ad-hoc requests, and build scalable processes.
  • Strategic Projects: Drive server-side tracking migration, implement advanced attribution models, and scale analytics infrastructure for international growth.

Who You Are

You have 7+ years in digital analytics with deep technical chops in GA4, GTM, server-side tracking, and data pipeline architecture. You are a proven problem-solver who builds data quality systems, leads teams, and communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical executives.

Ideal Background & Bonus Points

Experience reducing data quality incidents, architecting tracking infrastructures, and implementing automated validations is essential. Bonus points for familiarity with data observability tools (Monte Carlo, Great Expectations, dbt tests) and a background in analytics or data reliability engineering.

Additional Details

Location: Onsite in Dubai with full relocation and visa sponsorship. Compensation is competitive at Fifty-Five Thousand AED to Seventy-Five Thousand AED per month plus a performance bonus, all tax-free.
