As the Estate & Fleet Manager, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of international properties and vehicles for a Forbes Council CEO. This role demands rigorous operational excellence and superior service, leading high-performance household teams across multiple global locations. You will be the primary liaison for all third-party vendors and service providers, managing contract negotiations and expenditure approvals to ensure financial discipline throughout the portfolio. Daily responsibilities include overseeing property maintenance and intricate repairs across various international jurisdictions, alongside comprehensive management of the vehicle fleet lifecycle, covering scheduled maintenance, insurance, and transport coordination. You will manage household staff across various service functions, including housekeeping, culinary services, security, and groundskeeping. You will own the complete people lifecycle, from hiring and development to performance management, thereby building General Manager-level leadership experience that is transferable across diverse industries.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of experience in private estate management or luxury hospitality operations (e.g., hotel/resort management).
- Demonstrated experience leading teams of 10+ across multiple service functions.
- Direct accountability for HR processes: scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, hiring, and separations.
- Oversight of multi-property, multi-country portfolios.
- Prior experience supporting UHNW principals or family office environments.
- Proven ability to build operational frameworks and SOPs from the ground up.
- Fleet management experience (including maintenance scheduling, insurance, and logistics).
- Strong vendor negotiation and budget management capabilities.
- Demonstrated fluency with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for workflow optimization, documentation, and operational decision support.
- Fluent English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
Good-to-Have
- Formal credentials in hospitality management (e.g., Starkey International, British Butler Institute, or equivalent).
- Experience integrating newly acquired properties into existing operational frameworks.
- Familiarity with smart home and property automation systems.
