Overview

The GCP Architect at Publicis Sapient will design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on the GCP platform. You will work with software engineering teams to define requirements and design scalable, reliable architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design cloud infrastructure.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Terraform and DevOps tools.
  • Implement best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance including IAM, encryption, and network security.
  • Utilize Google IAM technologies and manage authentication protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
  • Work with HashiCorp Vault, GCP Cloud KMS, and GCDS tool (a plus).
  • Monitor, optimize, and scale cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, performance bottlenecks, and network connectivity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and operational policies.
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus.
