DevOps Engineer Position at Publicis Sapient

Tremend is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. This role will require problem solving creativity to tackle complex client issues across various industries. Your ideas and solutions will shape our mission to transform the world.

Responsibilities

  • Build the ultimate service environment for over 150 developers
  • Create and nurture secure, reliable, and highly available business-critical software solutions
  • Spread the DevOps culture throughout the company
  • Develop custom solutions for individual projects both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Build infrastructure as code from the ground-up
  • Provide support for internal teams and clients
  • Embrace Agile methodologies fully

Qualifications

Ops & Infrastructure: Advanced Linux, system and network security, distributed file systems (GlusterFS, Ceph), caching (Varnish, Redis, Memcache).

Provisioning: Terraform; Cloud providers: Azure, AWS, or GCP.

CI/CD: SCM tools like Gitlab, Bitbucket, GitHub; CI tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Bitbucket pipelines; Artifact management; SonarQube.

Deployment: Docker, Docker Compose; Orchestrators (Kubernetes, Rancher); CDNs.

Monitoring & Performance: ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Graphite, stats.

Programming: Bash, Python, and basic understanding of Java, Node.js, Golang, or PHP.

Database: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MSSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Couchbase, Redis, Elasticsearch, ArangoDB).
