Role Overview
As a Finance Controller, you will be instrumental in managing the financial reporting and compliance for Publicis Re:Sources in Israel. This role demands a strong understanding of local and international accounting principles, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to drive process improvements.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly month-end close reporting, including uploading data into the HFM system.
- Prepare and present regular financial balance sheet reviews to senior management, providing comprehensive variance analysis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and strict compliance with Israeli GAAP and other relevant regulations.
- Coordinate and manage both external and internal audits, collaborating closely with auditors for timely and accurate completion.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the integrity of financial reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies, and legal requirements, and efficiently manage all tax reporting.
- Provide comprehensive support to all Agency's Finance and operational teams, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to company guidelines.
- Assist operational managers with ad-hoc requests for financial information and detailed analysis.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to financial processes and systems, enhancing efficiency and accuracy across the board.
Qualifications
- CPA certification, coupled with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field (Big 4 experience is a significant advantage).
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in a Financial Controller, Accounting Manager, or Auditor role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements, especially Israeli GAAP.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills (familiarity with Priority and HFM systems will be an advantage).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Demonstrated accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work independently to meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English is required.
