About the Role

Are you looking to advance your SEO career? This role offers the opportunity to lead a team while staying hands-on with strategy. We are seeking a committed, experienced, and supportive Team Lead SEO to manage 1-2 major accounts and lead a team of 2-5 SEO Project Managers. This is a permanent position based in Paris 17th (Courcelles), with 2 days of remote work per week.

Key Responsibilities

Management
  • Lead a team of 2-5 Project Managers through weekly 1-on-1s, structured feedback, workload management, and daily support.
  • Ensure the skill development of junior and intermediate team members.
  • Guarantee the quality of services delivered, including client relations, project management, and recommendation relevance.
Operations
  • Define and execute SEO strategies for 1-2 major national or international accounts.
  • Implement action plans covering technical audits, content, semantics, link building, and performance measurement.
  • Integrate GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) into client strategies, focusing on visibility in AI responses, LLM presence audits, and citation optimization.
  • Manage high-stakes projects such as website redesigns, migrations, and market launches.
  • Contribute to major pole tenders, including strategic framing, recommendations, and presentations.
Team Contribution
  • Act as a trusted liaison between your team, other Team Leads, and SEO management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Share insights and experiences to foster collective growth.
  • Represent Performics externally through conferences, publications, and webinars.

Qualifications

Experience
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in SEO, ideally in an agency or multi-account setting.
  • Previous experience in team coordination, mentoring junior profiles, or transverse project leadership.
  • Fluent English, as some accounts have an international scope.
Skills
  • Solid mastery of the three SEO pillars: technical, content, and authority.
  • Proficiency in complex technical audits and data analysis.
  • Experience with market tools such as Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, and Oncrawl.
  • Experience managing large accounts with multiple stakeholders (marketing, IT, partner agencies).
  • Curiosity or initial experience with the impact of generative AI and LLMs on organic visibility.
